I was a bit worried the gold rim would look tacky, but it's actually a subtle, elegant touch that catches the light beautifully. The porcelain feels substantial and the well is perfect for saucy desserts.

The well is genuinely deep—I piled a full serving of stew with sauce and nothing spilled over the rim, which is rare for fancy plates. The porcelain feels sturdy in the hand, and the gold trim gives it an elegant touch without looking overdone.

The gold rim catches the light beautifully when the plates are stacked on the table, and that wide well gives me plenty of room to plate sauces without spillover. My dinner guests actually commented on how elegant they looked.
