The porcelain feels heavier and more refined than my old everyday mugs, and those raised edges really do keep spills from running down the sides. The French landscape pattern is so pretty that I actually left one out on the counter just to look at it.

The raised edges are what sold me—they really do keep everything tidy when you set the mug down. The porcelain has a nice weight to it, and the French landscape pattern looks even better in person than in the photos.

I was skeptical about a patterned mug feeling too busy, but the graphic porcelain pattern actually adds a really elegant touch to my morning coffee. The raised rim makes it comfortable to drink from and keeps the heat in nicely.
