I was a little worried the wood-grain pattern might look fake, but the embossed texture actually feels natural under my fingers. The plate has a nice weight to it for everyday meals.

The contrast between the glossy rim and the matte wood-grain center is surprisingly satisfying to both touch and look at. I love how the embossed texture hides water spots, too.

The wood-grain texture adds just the right amount of grip for serving, and the porcelain feels surprisingly sturdy. I've been using these daily and the enamel finish still looks flawless.
