The colour is exactly what I hoped for—a warm, earthy brown that looks lovely on the table. I’ve used it for small gratins and it holds heat beautifully, plus the glazed interior cleans up with almost no scrubbing.

This little casserole is the perfect size for a single side dish or a baked egg, and the beveled rim catches the light beautifully. The soft brown is even prettier in person than on screen, and it went straight from the oven to the table without a fuss. I’ve already used it three times this week.

The stoneware's mass-stained color means no chips show white underneath, which sold me for a casserole that gets dragged out every Sunday. At 30 cl it's the right size for two, and the beveled rim gives it a hand-thrown feel that dresses up the table nicely.
