The hand-applied platinum band is meticulously even, and it frames the plate’s surface in a way that makes even a simple salad look like a plated course. I’ve used it for dinner parties and it’s held up beautifully through the dishwasher, though I hand-wash it out of caution for the finish.

The way the platinum band catches the light makes each plate feel luxurious without being flashy. I served a roasted vegetable tart on it last night and the colors really popped against the white porcelain. Cleanup was easy too, which I always appreciate.

I was nervous about hand-washing porcelain, but this plate's platinum rim really does dress up simple pasta. The finish is smooth and even, no smudges or bubbles.
